About Silt Historical Park
Since opening in 1983, Silt Historical Park museum in Silt, Colorado, has provided a real Old West experience to thousands of visitors. Come tour our historic buildings and see what it was like to live in a mining town at the turn of the 20th century. The park was founded by our town's historians, who wanted to offer people a deeper understanding of local and American history. Our park is open Tuesday through Saturday from May 1 to October 31.
Silt Historical Park, a member of Northwest Colorado Heritage Travel, operates on donations. Consider becoming a park member or making a donation to help us keep this piece of history alive. Contact us for a membership application, and join us for Silt Hey Days, our town's annual festival, which has been running since 1969.
